Introduction

Payap University, established in 1974, is a private institution founded by the Church of Christ in Thailand. Payap is a founding member of the Association of Private Higher Education Institutions in Thailand, and an active member of the Association of Christian Universities and Colleges in Asia, as well as the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning.

Payap is a Liberal Arts and Pre-Professional School offering 22 Thai language undergraduate degrees in 12 departments (faculties):

Library

Payap’s two libraries house over 140,000 volumes, and 2,100 audiovisual forms, and subscribe to 600 periodicals and journals. Computerized library services include the card catalog and internet and database searching. Payap is also home to the University Archives, the only fully operational private archives in Southeast Asia, and second only to the National Archives in Bangkok. It has one of the world’s largest collections on Northern Thailand and adjacent areas and is a depository of the Church of Christ in Thailand (CCT) Visit: library.payap.ac.th
