Visa:  Full-time student visa available (for two successive courses in one enrollment – 120 hours)

Course Summary:

Available at Payap’s well known and established Language Enhancement Centre (LEC). This is one of the most popular and respected Thai language courses for foreigners in Chiang Mai.

These study programs are for non-native speakers of Thai and are offered in module format. They range from Thai 1 (Beginner – basic listening and speaking) through to Thai 8 (Thai for academic and literacy).

Class Time:

Classes are conducted between the hours of 9:00 am – 12:00 pm from Mondays to Thursdays (except public holiday).  If classes are canceled due to public holidays, make-up sessions will be arranged on Friday during each session.

The Language Enhancement Center (LEC) is located on the second floor of the Sirindhorn Learning Resources Center (or Main Library Building), Payap University (Mae Khao Campus).

  • Classrooms:

All levels of Intensive Thai Program are conducted on the fourth floor of the Graduate and International Studies Building (or Pentecost Building).
